I love this, it’s really great! Some nice cloud action in there too!
Clouds is a good trick for a night drawing.
When I was a kid I didn’t think you could have clouds at night. Now I know. Now I know.
VERY nice. A bit of tribute to R. Crumb in the style?
Tribute??? What have I drawn that isn’t a tribute to Crumb, Herriman, Fischer, etc etc etc
Indeed. I just found this one particularly reminiscent of Crumb’s style; it definitely does have that groovy late 60s vibe.
Beautiful!
Tony… you know I freaking love this poster! 60′s Bay area Big Brother and the Holding Company type shit. Cool.
Question: do you like coloring your work?
No, why? It takes too long.
‘Cause I freakin’ hate it too, man! Not yours, but mine…
Mad Mouse. I get asked a lot about coloring it… don’t wanna.
Don’t like the way it looks, and yes… takes too long!
How did you manage to get the strumming hand upside down? That is just brilliant (and painful to try)…!
I looked at my left hand.
That explains the remarkable likeness – anyway…
Drinky rocks! Left handed, right handed, left winged or right winged… a true renaissance man, uh… crow.
