I can’t hear well, he’s going to fix my one barely working ear.

Wow! That is truly amazing!
Unlike “NO DOCTORS,” I welcome the doctors.
Tony, I am very curious about this procedure. My husband (who loves Uncle Gabby btw) has hearing aids and is losing some hearing in one ear. What’s the procedure called? If you don’t mind talking about it, that is.
It’s called eardrum repair. Depends on what’s wrong with your ear. I have a perforated eardrum. Don’t know how I got it, probably loud music when I was young.

It’s outpatient surgery. One in a thousand goes bad, and you’re deaf in that ear. That’s why they’re nervous to do it in my one good ear. The other ear was killed by measles when I was 5.
Squeamish? It’s not so bad:

that’s super amazing! i’m blind in one eye but there’s nothing that can be done. super cool that you’re doing this for yourself. i would be scared too, but i think i would be ok with those odds.
The odds are not so good for the doctor, because he’s done hundreds and hundreds as he says. A couple went bad and he completely deafened some people permanently. That’s got to make you feel bad, and then here come the lawyers.
But the odds for me are terrific! Ha ha! Wheeee!
Wait, I don’t know if he ever deafened anyone. Odds are his failures were with people with 2 ears! Laws of probability!
When Tom?
March.
Best of luck Tony!
I FORGOT TO PUT THE TOUCAN PIRATES COVER ON THE COVERS PAGE!!!!!
Didn’t I do two of those?
Yes! And everyone loves them. You can grab cover shot jpg’s from the website at http://www.ToucanPirates.com. Good luck with the surgery – we’ll mix the next album in stereo just for you!
Don’t mix it in stereo! The doctor is fixing my good ear, which has a hole in it and doesn’t work very well. The bad ear is hopeless, unfixable, totally deaf deep in the nerve.
I’ll put them up here this week. There are 3.
that is an amazing surgery. best of luck
If you have your sideburn transplanted into your ear, wouldn’t that make it _harder_ to hear, what with the hair and all?
Tony, is that you?

No, I’m not afraid of wild animals. And I know that pumas do not roam in packs. It was probably imaginary coyotes.
Now you’ll be able to hear what people say about you behind your back.
Not if they stand to my left.
