Classic! The ol’ boxing glove on the accordion spring. A mainstay of cartoons and comics.
The Boxing Glove is an innovative piece of mergency technology. Feather-sensitive sensors detect approaching doom, and microseconds before impact, the glove punches the driver in the face so that when impact happens he is already reeling!
This was inspired by the age-old survival technique in falling elevators of leaping upwards a split second before hitting bottom. Ask someone who’s tried it!
I like the detail on the old school car, or “roadster”, as they call it. I like the classical connotations involved, with said “roadster” term, almost as if they are actually from that sort of time period.
I always draw from reference. Making it up from memory just doesn’t work. Same with the ships.
Plus, the conversation they have, and the results, are just hilarious.
